Why and on what basis do we collect your personal data? 
The reason we use your personal data is because of the contractual agreements between you and ProCardio.nl We use your personal data to manage your online purchase on ProCardio.nl, to process your orders and returns via our online services, and to inform you about the delivery status or any problems relating to the delivery of the products you have ordered. We also use your data to manage your payments, handle complaints and warranty issues for products, and to identify you and confirm your address with external partners such as a delivery service. In order to provide optimal personal service, we also store personal data so that we can, for example, inform you about the progress of AED supplies such as electrodes.

In addition, we may use your data for “legitimate interests”. This means that we want to provide all our customers with the best possible personal service. We always take your privacy into account when doing so. We may also have a legal obligation to use your data, for example if we suspect fraud. In other cases, you have given us your consent to use your data, such as when you sign up for the newsletter.

Use of our services
When you register for one or more of our services, we ask you to provide your personal data. This data is used to perform the service. This includes, for example, delivering your order. For an order, we need your name, email address, address(es) and sometimes your telephone number. This allows us to deliver your order and keep you informed about it. We also share your details with others if necessary for an order, for example with the delivery service or distribution centre.

When you send us emails or other messages (e.g. via a contact or quotation form), we may retain those messages. We sometimes ask for personal data that is relevant to the situation in question. This enables us to process your questions and respond to your requests. How long do we retain your data?

Exceptional rules apply to medical devices, including the External Automatic Defibrillator (AED). The data from the AED in combination with the owner must be retained for up to 15 years after end of life.  You have the right to ask ProCardio to delete your personal data at any time.  ProCardio may refuse your request for deletion if ProCardio still needs or is required to retain the personal data on the basis of legal requirements or an ongoing dispute.

Cookies 
In order to provide you with the best possible service, this website places cookies on your computer. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites or sometimes via emails. They provide companies with useful information that helps in many ways. For you, this means that you can use the website more efficiently and save time because you do not have to re-enter your details every time you visit. This allows us to recognise you and retrieve information about your previous visit. The profile created for you is not linked to personal data, but is only used to tailor the content displayed to your profile so that it is as relevant to you as possible.

Exercising rights such as access to personal data
We offer all visitors the opportunity to exercise their rights under the GDPR.
